What is HIPIOWA?

The Health Insurance Plan of Iowa (HIPIOWA) was created by the Iowa State Legislature to provide access to health insurance coverage to all residents of the state who are unable to obtain individual health insurance.

You are encouraged to use the assistance of a licensed insurance agent when completing this application. HIPIOWA will pay a $200.00 fee to agents for these services. Section VIII of the application must be completed and signed by the agent.
